About This Training
All family planning staff of Title X funded clinics need to know the basics of Title X and this interactive orientation provides an efficient and cost-effective way to train staff. Also included are special sections for supervisors and administrators. An excellent introduction or refresher web-based course.
Topics include:
- guiding principles of Title X.
- clinic services.
- client education, counseling and informed consent.
- the medical record
Credits: For successful completion of Lessons 2-4 (based on test results): 2.0 Type 1 Nursing contact hours, .2 Social Work CE s, and 2 LPC contact hours. For successful completion of Lesson 5 (based on test results): 1.0 Type 1 Nursing contact hours, .1 Social Work CE s, and 1 LPC contact hour.
You can get partial credit for successfully completing one or the other module. Max credit for entire training is 3 nursing, .3 social work, and 3 LPC/educator hours. For a complete description of accreditation, visit our accreditation page.
Fees: There is no fee for the course, however there will be a $10 charge for each post-test submitted for those wanting credit.
